
Lotte Department Store announced Wednesday it will hold the "Get Ready for Beauty" fair across all locations.
The beauty fair runs from March 6 to 15. Approximately 26 global luxury beauty brands will participate, including Chanel, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. Notably, Chanel Beauty and Prada Beauty have joined the event for the first time.
According to Lotte Department Store, a pop-up event featuring Japanese beauty brand Shiseido's new "Ultimune" product line will run through March 8 at "The Crown" on basement level 1 of the Jamsil branch's Avenuel. The "Ultimune Slow-Aging Serum (75ml)" gift set will be available at a 15% discount at both The Crown pop-up store and the main Jamsil branch. Customers who complete on-site missions will receive three deluxe samples and a 15% discount coupon. All purchasers will receive a "Blue Sunscreen (15ml)" and double Shiseido mileage points.
The retailer has also strengthened its exclusive offerings. Lotte Department Store exclusively launched SK-II's new "Genoptics CC Primer Green." Additional exclusive products available only at Lotte Department Store and its online mall include Yves Saint Laurent's "New Mini Kiss Shaper" lip liner, Prada Beauty's "Hand Cream & Lip Set," and L'Occitane's "Neroli Perfume Set."
A gift certificate promotion will also run from March 6 to 15. Customers who spend 300,000 won, 600,000 won, or 1 million won or more at participating brands using affiliated cards (Lotte Card or Hyundai Card) will receive Lotte gift certificates worth 7% of their purchase amount. Each customer may participate up to twice.
"March, when the most vibrant changes of the year begin, is when beauty consumption picks up ahead of the major gift-giving season in May," said Jung Soo-yeon, Head of Beauty & Accessories Division at Lotte Department Store. "As this period shows the most dynamic growth in the first half of the year, we will lead the spring beauty market through preferred brands and differentiated benefits for our customers."
