Ceragem announced on the 4th that its product sponsorship through KBS program "Donghang" (Walking Together), in partnership with ChildFund Korea, has reached its 100th cumulative donation.
Since 2022, Ceragem has partnered with ChildFund Korea for five years to provide healthcare appliances to low-income families and households with severely ill members through the "Donghang" program. The company has consistently donated healthcare products including the "Master V Collection" spinal care medical device and the "Fauze M Collection" premium massage chair, contributing products worth approximately 500 million won to date.
The 100th donation was made to a family where 9-year-old "Da-hee" and her sister "Seo-hee," born a year apart, live with their mother who suffers from multiple illnesses. After losing their father to a heart attack five years ago, the mother has been supporting the family while receiving treatment for angina, herniated discs, and joint pain. The two sisters also continue their daily lives in difficult circumstances, collecting cans and bottles after school.
Ceragem delivered one "Master V Collection" product to the family to help them easily manage spinal health in their daily lives. The company also provided a rest period where the family could experience medical devices firsthand and enjoy a cup of tea at Wellcafe and Welllounge.
A Ceragem representative said, "Through 'Donghang,' we have been able to provide practical support close to the daily lives of neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to stand by marginalized neighbors and carry on our spirit of sharing through 'Donghang' as well as various other social contribution activities."
Meanwhile, Ceragem has been conducting long-term social contribution activities overseas, extending beyond support for vulnerable groups in Korea. In India, the company has been operating the "Dream School" project since 2016 under the slogan "The future of children is the future of India." Last September, Ceragem successfully established a Dream School in the Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh region, completing a total of 14 projects across India, with plans to pursue a 15th project this year.
In China, Ceragem has supported the construction and facility improvements of 17 schools through its "Hope Elementary School" project since 2006, and is currently pursuing the construction of an 18th school this year. Since 2016, the company has also operated a scholarship program in partnership with major Chinese universities.
