Changsin University, acquired by Booyoung Group, achieved a 100% freshman enrollment rate for the fifth consecutive year for the 2026 academic year, establishing itself as a model case for strengthening regional university competitiveness through industry-academia cooperation.
Booyoung Group announced on the 4th that Changsin University's freshman enrollment for the 2026 academic year totaled 621 students, including 500 within the quota and additional students outside the quota. The enrollment rate reached 124.2% of capacity, marking a record high. This represents the largest freshman enrollment since the university's transition to a four-year institution in 2013, demonstrating a meaningful achievement that reflects the university's stable growth foundation.
The achievement is attributed to a combination of factors: systematic personalized student management by faculty, expansion of practical industry-academia cooperative education based on collaboration with Booyoung Group, and operation of customized curricula linked to regionally specialized industries. The results reflect the stable establishment of a virtuous cycle leading from education to employment after graduation by actively incorporating practical competencies demanded by industry into the curriculum.
Booyoung Group's Changsin University is also accelerating its leap toward becoming an "AI+X Leading University" by strengthening AI creative convergence education and industry linkages. Through the establishment of AI convergence departments and expansion of field-oriented education, the university plans to continuously expand its cooperative network with domestic and international industries and local communities while cultivating practical talent responsive to future industrial demands.

Since becoming Changsin University's financial contributor in 2019, Booyoung Group has provided full first-year scholarships to all freshmen annually (50% for nursing students). The group also operates the "Booyoung Track" program, offering field training and internships linked to group business sites, actively supporting Changsin University students in strengthening practical competencies at Booyoung Group's leisure facilities. To date, 113 Changsin University students have participated in the "Booyoung Track," with 20 subsequently hired by Booyoung Group affiliates.
With Booyoung Group's full support, Changsin University was recently selected for the "Foreign Caregiver Training University" pilot project jointly promoted by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The university's affiliated Caregiver Training Institute was also designated as a continuing education institution for caregivers by the National Health Insurance Service, further strengthening university competitiveness by focusing on education to address the super-aged society.
