Agricultural machinery maker TYM (002900) unveiled its next-generation mid-large tractor "T5088" at a customer invitation event.
TYM announced on the 3rd that it held the "2026 TYM Customer Invitation Event" at OSCO Convention Center in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province on the 26th of last month, showcasing its major product lineup.
The event featured the debut of the "T5088," the only new 80-horsepower class tractor from a domestic brand. Equipped with a German Deutz engine, the T5088 delivers powerful output even at low-to-mid speeds, combining mid-size maneuverability with large-class power.
Developed over four years of research, the T5088 incorporated feedback from 36 technical advisory committee members—veterans with over 10 years of agricultural machinery experience—and customers from the development stage. The tractor features front and rear 6-port hydraulic external valves, proportional control valves, the largest cabin in its horsepower class, air suspension, and ventilated and heated seats.
The rice transplanter lineup, displayed in time for the planting season, also drew visitor attention. The "RGO-690," the industry's first to pass autonomous driving comprehensive certification, features a 22-horsepower diesel engine, electronic pedals, and an electric slide reserve seedling system. TYM also showcased 10-row transplanters optimized for large-scale farming, providing customized solutions for farms of all sizes.
The company introduced the "Certified Pre-Owned John Deere" program, where John Deere and TYM directly purchase equipment, inspect 140 items, and provide up to 12 months of free warranty. TYM also plans to expand its "TYM One-Stop Store" strategy, which supports everything from product purchases to maintenance, parts, and financial consulting.
"We will continue to enhance our one-stop network centered on TYM Plazas established across six major regions nationwide, consistently delivering the best customer experience," said Kim Do-hoon, CEO of TYM.
