CJ OnStyle announced on March 3 that it is accepting applications for its small and medium-sized brand incubation program "2026 CJ Oncubating" until March 13.
Launched in April 2023, CJ Oncubating is a brand development program that discovers promising beauty and wellness brands, providing integrated support covering store placement, planning, production, marketing, global distribution, and investment. Through last year, the program has discovered 49 brands, generating cumulative transaction volume exceeding 53 billion won.
Starting this year, CJ OnStyle is expanding the program into a "K-Lifestyle Brand Accelerator" model. The company is establishing an 11 billion won "CJ Oncubating K-Lifestyle Fund" to invest across the entire value chain from product planning to global distribution.
Selected brands can receive up to 1 billion won in funding, including fund investments and government matching funds through programs such as TIPS. The strategy aims to accelerate brand scale-up by simultaneously providing early-stage growth capital and execution capabilities.
As CJ OnStyle has established partnerships with Amazon Korea and Ulta Beauty, the largest beauty platform in the United States, selected brands will gain access to global markets including North America, Asia, and Europe.
Applications for CJ Oncubating are available on the official website until March 13. Final selections will be announced in April based on comprehensive evaluation of product competitiveness, channel suitability, and global expansion potential.
A CJ OnStyle representative said, "CJ Oncubating is not simply a store placement support program, but an advanced accelerating model that jointly designs the entire process from planning, content, global distribution, to investment." The representative added, "Based on proven results and investment foundation, we will actively expand the global scale-up of K-lifestyle brands."
