NCSoft (036570) announced on the 27th that 'Lineage Classic' is launching a 'Clean Campaign' to eradicate abnormal gameplay.
'Lineage Classic' has been actively cracking down on abnormal activities that disrupt normal user gameplay. Over a two-week period, the company took action against more than 1.5 million accounts that violated operational policies in accordance with its terms of service.
NCSoft will run the 'Clean Campaign' until the 25th of next month. Users can participate by reviewing the 'Report Function' guide and reporting characters suspected of using macros or unauthorized programs. Users who submit valid reports will receive gifts including the title 'Legendary Guardian' and consumable items that assist with gameplay.
The company has also implemented in-game systems to block abnormal play characters. 'Guard' NPCs (Non-Player Characters) deployed in certain fields and dungeons track characters that violate operational policies and disrupt their gameplay.
