Liner announced on the 27th the launch of "Liner Light," an artificial intelligence agent specialized for business professionals in the workplace.
The company developed the technology to transform complex information into sophisticated outputs based on knowledge structuring expertise accumulated while advancing "Liner Scholar," an AI agent specialized for professional research. The service was launched separately to enable office workers to experience practical utility in their work environments.
Liner Light's core competitive advantage lies in its foundation on "Liner Deep Research," which has demonstrated world-class accuracy. The Deep Research system, which recorded a top-tier score of 93.7 points on SimpleQA benchmark—a global AI performance evaluation metric—has dramatically reduced AI hallucination.
As a result, users can produce highly reliable documents based on verified information, even in demanding writing situations requiring specialized knowledge or logical structure.
When users enter instructions in the Liner Light editor, the AI modifies, adds, or deletes content in real-time within the document. This streamlines the fragmented process of copying AI responses and pasting them into documents when using separate AI tools and document tools.
Users only need to make decisions on AI-suggested edits, dramatically improving work speed and quality. When users upload existing document files, content can be updated quickly and accurately while preserving the original format, eliminating the inconvenience of manual editing.
The editing environment that enhances document completion is another strength. Familiar document tool functions such as font and image insertion are implemented within the editor, maximizing Liner's strength in accurate source citation. Finished outputs can be converted to Word or PDF formats for immediate use in work.
"While developing an AI agent that solves demanding academic work environments, we confirmed that 'intelligent collaboration' with AI is also possible for general document work," said Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Liner. "Users can focus on continuous dialogue with Liner Light instead of tedious document editing processes."
