Cybersecurity firm Genians has secured its first local client in Singapore.
Genians announced on the 26th that it will supply its network access control solution "Genian NAC" to an electronic components manufacturer headquartered in Singapore. The Singapore-based client supplies products to global markets across various industries including data communications, telecommunications, and automotive, with business operations in multiple regions worldwide. Genians plans to establish a policy server at the Singapore headquarters data center, then sequentially expand coverage to overseas locations including India, Japan, North America, and Europe.
The client adopted Genians' NAC solution because it needed a system to clearly separate business networks from external networks and consistently manage the security status of connected devices and users in its global business environment. The solution received positive evaluations for its ability to reliably verify device authentication and security compliance even in complex global network environments. Genian NAC is a security solution that identifies and authenticates users and devices accessing networks while controlling access.
Genians plans to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, following this first client acquisition. The company currently has partnership agreements in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and expects this reference case to play a positive role in expanding its APAC customer base.
The company views this case as significant because it demonstrates how technical content and online engagement strategies targeting global customers can lead to actual adoption. The client reviewed the product through searches, technical documentation, and trial testing before directly contacting Genians. The company plans to accelerate efforts to develop technical content for global customers and enhance accessibility through digital channels.
