TikTok announced on the 25th that it will launch a live agency incubator program in partnership with the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) to nurture agencies that plan and operate music-focused TikTok Live content. The initiative aims to help startups in the music and entertainment sector produce high-quality live and short-form content through systematic creator management.
The program will run twice a year, in the first and second halves. Companies that complete the program will receive support to become official TikTok Live partner agencies through formal contracts with TikTok. The goal is to onboard 25 startup agencies each half, totaling 50 annually.
The first-half program runs from this month through June. Applications will be accepted from the 27th through March 15, followed by a screening process to select 25 participating companies, with results announced next month. A four-week training course begins on the 26th of next month, consisting of four hours per week for a total of 16 hours. This will be followed by 12 weeks of hands-on content planning and production using studio facilities.
Eligible applicants include startups (corporations or sole proprietors) with experience in entertainment, music, or artist management. Content companies seeking to expand their creators' or artists' music live activities through TikTok Live may apply. Company representatives must attend all sessions during the four-week training period.
The curriculum covers TikTok Live's business structure and monetization methods, agency onboarding procedures, operational data monitoring, creator and viewer management, customer support channels, and music live content formats and event planning. During the practical phase, participants will execute content operations and strengthen their capabilities based on performance metrics.
Jensen Liu, Head of TikTok Live Korea, said, "RAPA's excellent production infrastructure and field expertise will be a major force in elevating Korea's music live ecosystem to the next level." He added, "Through this partnership, we will expand our pool of capable agencies, steadily accumulate practical operational cases, and do our best to create a healthy ecosystem where creators and agencies can grow together."
Startups interested in participating can apply through the official website of RAPA's Creator Media Complex by the 15th of next month.
