SK Telecom announced on the 25th that it will participate in the "Global AI Red Team Challenge" during MWC26 to verify the stability and reliability of its self-developed artificial intelligence model "A.X K1."
The Global AI Red Team Challenge will involve approximately 100 evaluators testing large language models developed by domestic and international telecom and AI companies. The evaluation will examine potential misuse including discriminatory response generation and personal information breaches.
A.X K1 is a model developed entirely with proprietary technology from design to training. It was recently selected as a first-stage evaluation target for the government's "Independent AI Foundation Model" initiative, earning recognition for its technical capabilities. The A.X model series, including A.X K1, has been enhanced based on data and operational expertise accumulated across SK Telecom's telecommunications and platform businesses. It is currently offered to customers through the AI service "A.dot" and is gradually expanding its application to various business areas within SK Group.
Through this participation, SK Telecom plans to evaluate A.X K1's performance and safety on the global stage and apply the results to model enhancement and service improvement.
