OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, has signed partnerships with four consulting firms including Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to deploy its enterprise platform 'Frontier' to businesses.
According to the information technology (IT) industry on the 25th, BCG and OpenAI announced the previous day that they would "expand and reorganize their partnership into the Frontier Alliance to help companies accelerate enterprise-wide artificial intelligence (AI) transformation beyond simple experimentation." Accenture, Capgemini, and McKinsey & Company are also joining the Frontier Alliance.
The partnership was established to address challenges many companies currently face when adopting AI. These include mixing individual tools, complex system integration processes, and lack of enterprise-wide management frameworks that hinder practical scaling. BCG and OpenAI have formed an integrated team combining AI strategy development, operating model redesign, industry-specific workflow optimization, and leading AI research and products. The plan is to support enterprise-wide AI transformation that generates measurable results beyond simply adopting technology.
Dylan Bolden, BCG's Global Chair of Functional Consulting, said, "AI is a core foundation of BCG's business and strategy. We are helping industry leaders redesign core operations and create new businesses from an AI-First perspective."
