Shinsegae I&C is strengthening its strategic partnership with Nutanix.
Shinsegae I&C announced on the 24th that it will launch "Spharos One," an AI-ready enterprise subscription cloud service designed on the Nutanix cloud platform solution. The service supports private cloud modernization and next-generation AI workloads.
Spharos One offers a flexible cloud-as-a-service subscription model that enables companies to build private cloud and AI platforms without large upfront investments. The service can reduce total cost of ownership by up to 25% compared to traditional on-premise infrastructure, allowing rapid response to growing demand for AI-based services.
The solution is also designed flexibly to meet diverse enterprise needs. Built on enterprise-dedicated infrastructure solutions for private cloud server-based virtualized environments, it includes AI-optimized infrastructure, platform expansion, and storage and database solutions. Companies can select specific features based on their IT environment or cloud adoption objectives to build optimal infrastructure. Hybrid operations linked with public cloud are also available. The service is tailored for companies transitioning from on-premise environments, those requiring infrastructure expansion and integrated management due to rapid data growth, and enterprises seeking to modernize existing IT infrastructure through private cloud migration.
As a Nutanix ASP partner and service provider, Shinsegae I&C has built proven operational capabilities through large-scale cloud deployment projects for HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, Dongwon Group, and BNK Financial Group. The company's strategy is to expand from its infrastructure deployment-focused business structure to subscription services and strengthen its enterprise-specialized service lineup to secure new growth drivers.
"This partnership will provide Korean companies with an AI smart platform that simplifies the process from AI experimentation to infrastructure realization," said Byun Jae-geun, President of Nutanix Korea. "Both companies will support enterprises in modernizing private clouds and building the foundation needed to safely scale AI workloads for core business operations."
Jung Pil-seung, Head of Cloud BIZ at Shinsegae I&C, said, "Both companies have built a partnership based on trust." He added, "Through collaboration with Nutanix, we will expand our business structure into private cloud-as-a-service, broaden our service lineup beyond infrastructure, and grow into a full-stack cloud company that supports successful artificial intelligence transformation (AX) for enterprises."
