NCSoft (036570) announced on the 25th that it will introduce a new transcendence dungeon "Sunken Temple of Life" in its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "Aion 2" and hold a 100-day launch anniversary event.
"Sunken Temple of Life," the first transcendence content of Season 2, is a deep-sea concept dungeon featuring boss monster "Sunken Emon." The minimum item level requirement to enter the new transcendence dungeon is 3,000, with higher difficulty levels requiring higher item levels.
New Arcana part "Libra" and two Arcana set effects "Frenzy" and "Pure Blood" will be added. "Libra" can only be crafted using "Harmonious Crystal," a material obtained from "Sunken Temple of Life." The set effect "Frenzy" increases boss damage amplification by 5%, while "Pure Blood" increases critical hit damage amplification by 5%, both craftable using "Mystical Crystal."
A 100-day launch anniversary event for Aion 2 begins today. Players who log in starting today can receive special cosmetic items including "100 Days Together T-shirt (Appearance: Breastplate)(Engraved)" and "100 Days Together Cake (Appearance: Helmet)(Engraved)." An attendance event also begins, offering engraved items such as combat enhancement scrolls and Soul Book: Reset. Starting from midnight on the 26th, players can redeem a 100-day anniversary coupon for various rewards.
An Abyss improvement update reflecting user feedback will also be implemented. The third "Elyos-Asmodian" matching reform will improve server-by-server balance. Reduced PvP ranking point losses will enable stress-free Abyss gameplay. "Chaos Abyss," supporting race-independent server matching such as "Elyos vs Elyos" and "Asmodian vs Asmodian," will also be introduced in the future.
Additionally, server creation restrictions will be lifted, and appreciation coupons will be distributed to users, including "Urugugu Weapon +10 Enhancement Selection Box (Engraved)" and "Bakron Armor +10 Enhancement Selection Box (Engraved)."
"Sanctuary of Erosion," the highest-difficulty PvE content in Aion 2, will be unveiled on the 11th of next month as new sanctuary content.
