Hancom (030520) achieved its highest-ever annual performance last year.
The company announced through its internal settlement disclosure on the 23rd that it posted revenue of 175.3 billion won and operating profit of 50.9 billion won on a separate basis for 2025. This represents a 10.2% increase in revenue and 2.4% increase in operating profit year-over-year, marking three consecutive years of solid growth.
Hancom noted that the results are particularly significant as they stem from the successful market adoption of AI agent products including "Hancom Assistant" and "Hancompedia," along with the introduction of a new AI licensing system, marking a departure from the company's previous one-time package sales model.
"Behind this record performance lies a fundamental shift in our revenue structure," a Hancom official said. "Hancom broke free from the limited packaged software market framework and introduced an AI-optimized licensing model where users pay based on their AI feature usage or according to company size. Hancom Assistant, in particular, has deeply penetrated public sector and financial industry work environments, establishing a stable revenue base."
Hancom's data optimization technology also contributed to the remarkable performance improvement. The company has secured market leadership with its technology that converts unstructured document data into AI training data. It is currently participating as a core member of the LG AI Research consortium in the "Independent AI Foundation Model Project" led by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Within the consortium, Hancom plays a key role in applying proprietary AI models to industrial settings and expanding application services.
"I am confident that the process of Hancom employees directly experiencing AX (AI transformation) innovation, developing micro agents, and coordinating collaboration between agents will itself become a new business model," said Hancom CEO Yeonsu Kim. "Hancom will now transform into a leading AI orchestration company that makes AI work most efficiently among global platforms, and lead the global AX market."
