Rebellions announced Wednesday that it presented a paper on its Rebel Quad technology at ISSCC 2026, the world's most prestigious semiconductor design conference, and successfully completed a live product demonstration.
Rebel Quad is Rebellions' next-generation AI semiconductor product. The chip features chiplet architecture, a key trend in the semiconductor industry. Chiplet technology involves separately manufacturing small semiconductor dies with different functions and integrating them into a single chip using advanced packaging. This approach improves performance scalability, yield rates, and cost efficiency. Rebellions adopted a design connecting four chiplets into one unit, resolving the low yield issues typically associated with producing large monolithic chips.
Rebellions conducted a live demonstration of Rebel Quad at the conference. The company said it controlled variables that could occur during actual system operation, proving mass-production-level quality to industry experts.
"Rebel Quad has achieved completeness as a product ready for commercialization, beyond the laboratory level," said Oh Jin-wook, Chief Technology Officer at Rebellions. "We will showcase Korea's AI semiconductor capabilities on the global stage."
