YouTube's mobile and web services experienced access disruptions on January 18, the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the information technology industry, YouTube's mobile and web platforms displayed error messages stating "Something went wrong" and were not functioning properly on the morning of that day.
Downdetector, a website that tracks IT service outages, also showed a sharp spike in reported YouTube issues starting from the morning.
