South Korea's Jung Dae-yoon Exits Olympic Moguls in 19th Place

Jung Dae-yoon of South Korea was eliminated from the men's moguls competition at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics after finishing 19th in the first final round.

Jung scored 34.28 points at the Livigno Aerial Mogul Park in Italy on Sunday, placing 19th among 20 competitors. Only the top eight advanced to the second final round.

Jung slipped during his run, dropping him to the lower ranks.

Moguls is a freestyle skiing discipline where athletes descend a course covered with snow bumps approximately one meter high while performing aerial maneuvers off jumps. Scores reflect turns, aerial techniques, and time.

Jung had qualified for the first final after scoring 77.36 points to finish 14th in the second qualifying round on Sunday. He had placed 27th out of 29 competitors with 65.51 points in the first qualifying round on Friday. Lee Yoon-seung of Kyung Hee University, who also competed, was eliminated after finishing 27th with 69.35 points in the second qualifying round.

Australia's Matt Graham won gold, Canada's Mikael Kingsbury took silver, and Japan's Ikuma Horishima claimed bronze.

Jung will compete again in the men's dual moguls on February 15.
