SAP Korea announced on March 11 that it will host "SAP Connect Day for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Innovation" at Josun Palace Hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, on March 19.
The large-scale seminar offers an advance look at key content from Hannover Messe 2026, the world's largest industrial trade fair. SAP Korea plans to share the latest technology trends, including AI agents being deployed in manufacturing sites and supply chain operations, with a focus on AI-based automation and connectivity applied across industries.
Dominik Metzger, Chief Product Officer of SAP's Supply Chain Management division, will deliver a keynote address on "Realizing the Connected Enterprise with AI-Based Optimized Supply Chain," presenting SAP's global supply chain strategy. Hagen Heubach, Chief Marketing Officer of SAP's Supply Chain Management division, will then introduce key showcases to be unveiled at Hannover Messe 2026.
The afternoon session will feature a presentation by Han Kyu-hun, Executive Vice President of Hyundai Glovis's Future Innovation Center, on domestic manufacturing and supply chain innovation, along with practical manufacturing innovation achievements from major Korean conglomerates leading global markets. The event will present actionable solutions to strengthen Korean companies' global competitiveness, including supply chain optimization cases based on SAP Integrated Business Planning across Korea's core industry sectors, logistics innovation, and digital thread strategies for smart factory implementation.
