Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 18th through its 2025 executive reshuffle that it has promoted and appointed Lee Bo-ryong, Executive Vice President and Head of Production at Hyundai Steel (004020.KS), as the new President and CEO of Hyundai Steel.
The new CEO is regarded as an expert with over 30 years of extensive experience in the steel industry, possessing not only engineering expertise in R&D but also comprehensive operational experience in steel business management. He is considered the right person to strengthen Hyundai Steel's future competitiveness by continuously pursuing strategic large-scale facility and technology investments.
Seo Gang-hyun, who has served as Hyundai Steel's CEO since 2023, will move to the position of Group Planning and Coordination Officer through this reshuffle, where he will lead business optimization across group affiliates.
