BTS lifted the "Artist of the Year" trophy, the top honor at the American Music Awards (AMA).
The American Music Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 25 local time.
BTS was named "Artist of the Year," beating out competitors including Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.
This marks BTS's second AMA grand prize. The group has won 11 awards at the ceremony, beginning with "Favorite Social Artist" in 2018. In 2021, BTS became the first Korean artist to win "Artist of the Year."
