Iran said it will hold war-related negotiations with the United States in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on June 10 (local time).
Reuters reported on June 7 that Iran and the United States are scheduled to negotiate in Islamabad on June 10. According to Reuters, Iranian state television reported that "U.S. President Donald Trump has accepted Iran's conditions for ending the war."
Earlier, President Trump posted on his social networking service Truth Social, saying he "agrees to a two-week halt to the bombing and strikes on Iran, on the condition that Iran agrees to a complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz." CNN reported that "the White House stated that 'Israel has also agreed to a temporary ceasefire.'"
Trump had previously threatened to carry out large-scale strikes on Iran's critical infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, if no agreement with Iran was reached by 8 p.m. (9 a.m. Korean time on the 8th).
