Upon entering the Neolix headquarters in Yizhuang, Beijing on March 16, a large real-time dashboard was the first thing that caught the eye. Having surpassed 100 million cumulative kilometers on February 25 this year, the company had added another 10 million km in less than a month. Finished vehicle production was also ramping up rapidly. Yang Zhe, Neolix co-founder and chief design officer (CDO), stressed: "We reached 2,000 units in February last year, surpassed 15,000 by the end of last year, broke through 17,000 in February this year, and our target is 50,000 by year-end." The figures illustrate how autonomous delivery vehicles — still unfamiliar in Korea — have already entered mass production in China and are rapidly penetrating daily life.
