The 'Privacy Display' feature drew attention for its practicality at the Galaxy S26 Ultra exhibition at Samsung Electronics' Unpacked event on January 25 (local time). As the S26 Ultra rotated on a 360-degree turntable, the screen that appeared clear from the front became invisible from other angles.

Privacy Display controls the diffusion of light emitted from screen pixels to restrict viewing from side angles. Previously, users had to purchase separate privacy protection films to attach to their screens, but this is no longer necessary. The inconvenience of screens appearing blurry due to films is also eliminated.
Users can configure when Privacy Display activates and which apps it covers. It can be set to turn on automatically when entering sensitive information like PIN numbers or passwords, or when launching specific apps. The feature can also be applied only to KakaoTalk notifications that appear unexpectedly on screen. When using a smartphone as a navigation device while driving, users no longer need to worry about passengers seeing KakaoTalk notifications.
Among the Galaxy S26 series unveiled, only the Ultra model supports Privacy Display. Samsung Electronics expects smartphone users sensitive about privacy to prefer the Ultra model.
The 'Galaxy Buds4 Pro' and 'Galaxy Buds4' unveiled alongside the Galaxy S26 series also attracted attention. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature delivered clean sound quality and immersion without external noise. Galaxy Buds4 Pro is the first to feature a bezel-less woofer that maximizes speaker vibration area while minimizing edges.
There was no ear discomfort while listening to music, and the earbuds stayed secure even when shaking one's head. This results from ergonomic design based on over 100 million ear data points worldwide and more than 10,000 fitting simulations to improve comfort.
A premium Metal Blade design adds sophistication. A translucent cover on the case allows users to intuitively check whether the earbuds are stored inside.
Samsung Electronics will begin pre-orders for the Galaxy Buds4 series at midnight on January 27 and officially launch them in Korea on March 11. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro is priced at 359,000 won, while the Galaxy Buds4 is 259,000 won.
