"I hope she succeeds in passing her conservative peace through strength agenda," Trump said. "The great people of Japan, who voted with passion, will always have my strong support."
In Japan's House of Representatives election held on the 8th, the ruling Liberal Democratic Party won a landslide victory, far exceeding the two-thirds majority required to initiate constitutional amendments. Prime Minister Takaichi has expressed her intention to transform Japan into a nation capable of waging war through constitutional revision.
