The apartment complex that drew the most consumer interest nationwide in the second quarter of this year was "Dongtan Station Lotte Castle" in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, according to data released on the 14th. Analysts attribute the concentration of interest in residential complexes near industrial hubs to continued expectations for expanded semiconductor industry investment.
According to the "Q2 2026 Popular Apartment Ranking" released by Hogangnono, a comprehensive apartment information platform operated by Zigbang, Dongtan Station Lotte Castle attracted approximately 170,374 unique visitors in the second quarter alone, taking the top spot.
The complex is regarded as a representative development that combines expectations for a semiconductor industry boom with excellent transportation and living infrastructure. As market interest concentrated on Dongtan to the point that it was recently designated a regulated area, queries from users seeking to check transaction prices and market value changes increased.

Second place went to "Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Punggyeongchae Urbanity" in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, with 138,137 visitors. This complex also drew interest as expectations for the development of the Pyeongtaek semiconductor industry belt and its proximity between work and home were highlighted.
Third place was "Summit The Hill" in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, viewed by 108,433 people. Supplied in May in the Heukseok New Town area, Summit The Hill drew market attention by touting its Han River view location despite its high sale price, recording a competition ratio of 32.5 to 1 in first-priority subscriptions.
Fourth through sixth places went to "Helio City" in Songpa-gu, Seoul, "Olympic Park Foreon" in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and "Seongbok Station Lotte Castle Gold Town" in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, respectively. These complexes, representative landmark developments in their regions, made the upper ranks as demand from users continuously checking actual transaction prices and market values flowed in.
Seventh place was "La Clache Xi Define" in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. Supplied through the redevelopment of Noryangjin District 6, the complex recorded a high competition ratio of 26.9 to 1 in first-priority subscriptions held in April. Despite its high sale price, it received strong interest as expectations for its excellent location and product quality were reflected.
Eighth place was "Hillstate Yeongtong" in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, regarded as a representative complex of the Yeongtong living area. Ninth and tenth places went to "Hwaseong Dongtan 2 District Block C27" and "Acro River Sky," respectively. Analysts say demand continued from users seeking to check sales schedules and supply information for these newly launched complexes.
Kim Eun-sun, head of Zigbang's Big Data Lab, said, "In the second quarter of 2026, interest in complexes near industrial belts such as Dongtan and Pyeongtaek increased due to expectations for the expansion of the semiconductor industry." She added, "The market has recently been responding quickly to policy changes, with movements to explore not only regulated areas but also alternative areas together, so we need to watch how this trend continues going forward."
