Cardholders can receive discounts at all domestic and overseas merchants without meeting previous-month spending requirements, while overseas transaction fee waivers and interest-free installments target consumers who value practical benefits.
According to Woori Card on the 10th, the "Card ui Jeongseok 2 Super" offers a 2% discount at all domestic and overseas merchants with no previous-month spending requirement. The discount limit is up to 100,000 won per month. Since there is no need to consider specific business categories or usage conditions, the card is easy to use even for consumers who find it cumbersome to calculate card benefits.
At domestic merchants, the card also offers interest-free installments over two to three months for payments of 50,000 won or more. It is highly useful for large one-time expenses such as medical bills, taxes, home appliance purchases, and wedding preparation costs.
Overseas benefits have also been strengthened. The card waives a total of 1.3% in fees charged on overseas payments, including international brand fees and overseas service fees. Factoring in the basic 2% discount, the effective benefit for overseas use reaches up to 3.3%. Cardholders who issue the card as an overseas-compatible version can also use Mastercard Platinum services.
The card design consists of two basic versions and a version featuring "WEASY," an idol character created with generative artificial intelligence (AI). WEASY, a name combining "Woori" and "Easy," is a character created by Woori Card to promote an easy and enjoyable card lifestyle.
"This is a product that is competitive through its benefits themselves, without complicated explanations," a Woori Card official said. "We included practical discount benefits that customers can actually feel." The annual fee is 30,000 won for both the domestic-only and overseas-compatible versions.
