Tesla Korea said on the 10th that it has launched "Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14 Lite," an autonomous driving feature, in Korea.
It marks the second market where the feature has been offered, following the North American market in late June.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is an advanced driver assistance system that performs route navigation, lane changes, steering, and parking under the driver's supervision. According to Tesla, it supports natural and stable driving in everyday situations such as entering intersections and driving through curved sections, and responds intuitively even in complex road environments.
This update will be provided sequentially to Model 3 and Model Y vehicles produced in the United States that have Full Self-Driving (Supervised) activated. The new Tesla Y and other models recently imported after being produced in Shanghai, China, are not eligible.
"Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is not a fully autonomous driving feature and may not perfectly recognize all obstacles, roads, and traffic conditions," Tesla Korea said. "Drivers must always pay attention and be prepared to take immediate control of the vehicle."
