Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) said Wednesday it is holding "The New Grandeur Tech Pop-up Store" for two days starting on the 9th at Informal Square in Seongdong District, Seoul.
The New Grandeur Tech Pop-up Store is the first event Hyundai Motor has organized around the theme of technology. The venue is designed as a space where customers can experience the key technologies applied to the New Grandeur.
The pop-up store displays components related to the core technologies featured in the New Grandeur, including the 1.6 turbo next-generation hybrid system, R&H (ride and handling), Pleos Connect, and the Smart Vision Roof. Hyundai researchers personally introduce the development background of each technology and what sets it apart.
Since the launch of its first-generation model in 1986, the Grandeur has led the history of Korea's premium sedans for more than 40 years, consistently debuting ahead-of-its-time designs and cutting-edge technologies as Hyundai Motor's flagship model. Through the tech pop-up store, Hyundai aims to highlight the heritage of technological innovation the Grandeur has built across generations, while allowing customers to see and experience the advanced technologies in the New Grandeur firsthand and witness the company's future mobility technology and competitiveness.
The New Grandeur is the first Hyundai vehicle equipped with Pleos Connect, the company's next-generation infotainment platform. Built around a 17-inch central display, Pleos Connect delivers an intuitive user interface, providing a digital environment where vehicle information and content can be accessed more easily and conveniently.
"The New Grandeur Tech Pop-up Store is Hyundai Motor's first technology-focused pop-up store and a venue created so that ordinary customers can directly experience the Grandeur's advanced technologies," a Hyundai Motor official said. "Hyundai will continue to deliver a more differentiated mobility experience based on customer-centered technological innovation."
