Karrot, a local community platform, is launching a goods brand called "Karrot Made."
Karrot said Wednesday it has introduced Karrot Made, its first official goods brand, and has officially registered as a brand goods seller within the Karrot app to operate on a permanent basis. Karrot Made is an official goods brand created with the aim of having Karrot directly plan and produce items that can be practically used in local daily life. Under the brand slogan "Made for Better Local Living," the brand is designed to help users experience Karrot's values and culture more closely in their everyday lives.
Rather than operating temporarily for a specific season or event, Karrot Made will take the form of a store that users can visit at any time to browse products. Searching "Karrot Made" in the Karrot app's search bar allows users to check related products and brand information.
Products launched as the first collection include a "Keyring Shopping Bag" that can be carried lightly like a keyring and unfolded into a shopping bag when needed, an "All-Weather Umbrella" that can be used not only on rainy days but also on days with strong sunlight, and an "Umbrella Pouch" that allows wet umbrellas to be stored comfortably and carried conveniently by hanging it on a bag or bicycle.
"Karrot Made is a brand introduced so that users can encounter Karrot more closely in their daily lives," a Karrot official said. "We plan to continue introducing a variety of products that naturally blend into local living."
Ahead of the official launch, Karrot is holding an opening notification sign-up event starting Wednesday. Through a drawing among those who sign up for notifications, Karrot will give away a full package of new goods and "Karrot Chewy Ball," a non-commercial goods item. Official sales begin July 1. Customers who purchase above a certain amount will be provided with the Karrot Chewy Ball as a free gift, available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.
