"Money Trend 2026," a wealth management show hosted by Seoul Economic Daily on the first of next month, is accepting final registrations amid strong investor interest. Lectures covering asset classes of high interest to investors—including real estate, taxes, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), stocks and cryptocurrencies—will run throughout the day.
As of the 24th, pre-registrations exceeded 1,000. Applications poured in to the point that some lectures are nearly fully booked. At last year's event, attendees flocked in such numbers that seats ran short, and many had to stand for long periods to hear the lectures. Those who have not yet pre-registered should hurry.
Money Trend is notable for distributing its topics and time slots so that lectures do not overlap. Participants give high marks to the event for allowing them to encounter a wide range of fields in one place, including real estate, taxation, ETFs, the domestic stock market and cryptocurrencies. Being able to choose and attend multiple lectures according to one's areas of interest is also cited as an advantage.
Participants who have completed pre-registration can enter on the day of the event by presenting a QR code at the venue or by confirming their name at the registration desk. Since seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, it is advantageous to secure a seat early for lectures of interest. Many participants also arrive early, as front-row seats allow for more focused listening to the speakers' explanations.
If there is time after a lecture concludes, attendees can also hold a brief question-and-answer session with the speakers. As experts representing the fields of investment, real estate and taxation gather in one place, it is expected to offer an opportunity to directly ask questions about wealth management.
Money Trend draws high satisfaction from participants not only for its lectures but also for the chance to meet private bankers (PBs) from major domestic banks and securities firms in person and receive asset management consultations. Attendees can gain investment ideas through the lectures and receive advice tailored to their individual circumstances at the consultation booths, allowing them to resolve their wealth management concerns all at once.

This year, four major commercial banks—KB Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank and Woori Bank—along with Mirae Asset Securities and NH Investment & Securities, will operate consultation booths. At the booths set up by the banks and securities firms, PBs and asset management experts will be on hand to provide customized asset management consulting. KB Kookmin Bank is preparing tax consulting and real estate advisory services. Woori Bank will provide information useful to investors, centered on taxation and asset management. Hana Bank will likewise offer asset management consultations to participants who visit its booth. Shinhan Bank will conduct customized consultations on the theme of comprehensive asset management.
Mirae Asset Securities has prepared consultations on tax-saving products such as pensions, individual retirement pensions (IRPs), individual savings accounts (ISAs) and retail treasury bonds. NH Investment & Securities plans to conduct pension-focused asset management consultations.
