Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) Group said Monday that Hyundai Motor, Kia (000270.KS), and Genesis will participate in the "2026 Busan Mobility Show," which opens June 26. Marking its 25th anniversary this year, the Busan Mobility Show will showcase changes ranging from eco-friendly vehicles to advanced future mobility under the slogan "Moving Tomorrow."
Hyundai Motor will present a total of eight models, including the IONIQ electric vehicle and the NEXO hydrogen vehicle, in an exhibition hall measuring 2,040 square meters (about 617 pyeong). The exhibition theme is "experiencing software and AI beyond automobiles, and a mobility connected to users." At the venue, the new model of the compact sedan Avante, "The All-New Avante," will also be unveiled for the first time. In addition, the company plans to introduce key technologies through experiential content for its next-generation infotainment system "Pleos Connect."
Kia will operate an exhibition hall of the same 2,040 square meters as Hyundai Motor under the theme "Your Life Partner for Every Moment, Kia." A total of 15 vehicles, including the Vision Metaturismo, the EV electric vehicle series, and the PV5, will be on display. At the Kia exhibition hall, visitors can see three derivative models of the PV5, the first model of the PBV (Purpose Built Vehicle), Kia's future growth driver. In addition, six PV5 models being developed in collaboration with external partners will be unveiled. The PV5 is set to be developed into a children's school bus, an ice cream truck, a mobile pet pop-up store, a bike transport vehicle, a mobile bank, and an AI patrol car. "Our goal is to introduce externally collaborated models based on the PBV and to share a vision for lifestyle changes," Kia said.
Genesis will introduce its high-performance Magma model. It will display the Magma GT Concept and the GMR-001 hypercar design in an exhibition hall measuring 1,120 square meters (about 339 pyeong). Among these, the Magma GT Concept and the actual vehicle design of the GMR-001 hypercar, which competed in the "Le Mans" endurance race, will be introduced for the first time in Asia.
