iFamily SC (114840) said on the 11th that it has decided to cancel 638,515 common treasury shares (3.7%) to stabilize its stock price and enhance shareholder value. This represents about 3.7% of outstanding shares, worth around 9 billion won.
iFamily SC has pursued shareholder return policies, acquiring a total of 11 billion won in treasury shares over the past three years — 3 billion won in 2024, 3 billion won last year, and 5 billion won this year. In the third quarter of last year, it raised its dividend payout ratio to around 20% and began quarterly dividends. Chairman Kim Tae-wook, the CEO and largest shareholder, has also purchased treasury shares on the open market for four consecutive years.
The company emphasized that this demonstrates its commitment to responsible management by fully implementing shareholder return policies and boosting the company's growth and credibility. Chairman Kim Tae-wook of iFamily SC said, "Management knows best about the company's growth potential and future value, and the purchase and cancellation of treasury shares is a way of demonstrating that conviction through action," adding, "We plan to continuously expand shareholder-friendly policies to become a company that grows together with its shareholders."
Meanwhile, iFamily SC operates the global color cosmetics brand "rom&nd." It recently launched a new skincare brand, "rdrd," marking a full-scale expansion into the skincare market.
