Ceragem said Tuesday that it donated healthcare products, including the Master V7 spine care medical device, to the Dongbu Hope Care Center, a social welfare center, to promote the health and welfare of Namyangju residents.
The Hope Care Center is a social welfare facility that connects public and private institutions to provide integrated welfare services such as care, daily living support, and health, in order to overcome the limitations of public welfare. Opened in 2007, the Namyangju Dongbu Hope Care Center carries out various welfare projects, including a safe housing support program, programs for resident participation and community revitalization, and leisure and cultural programs for diverse generations such as children, youth, and the elderly.
By delivering healthcare products to the Dongbu Hope Care Center, Ceragem plans to contribute to improving health and welfare in the local community and to help manage the health of residents in health blind spots, such as elderly people living alone. The Master V7 donated by Ceragem features a precise spine scan function that analyzes the user's spine length and curvature, and uses special ceramic heating plates to apply acupressure to key areas with concentrated heat of up to 65 degrees.
"We decided on this support to encourage healthy daily lives for local residents in need of care and for the social welfare center workers who dedicate themselves on the front lines," a Ceragem official said. "Going forward, as a win-win partner that breathes with the local community, we will continue our warm sharing so that all residents can enjoy a healthy and good life."
Meanwhile, Ceragem carries out a variety of contribution activities for healthy living, including support for socially disadvantaged groups. To help address the national blood supply crisis, the company has conducted a blood donation campaign for its employees, as well as activities including support for ALS patients, support for families featured on KBS's "Companion" program, and donations to the Korean Red Cross. It is also pursuing global contribution projects to improve educational infrastructure, such as Dream Schools in India and Hope Primary Schools in China.
