Korea District Heating Corp. (KDHC) said it will hire 72 new entry-level employees this year.
"We decided to expand the scale of new employee recruitment this year compared with the previous year to create new jobs and respond to the government's policy of expanding youth employment," a KDHC official said Thursday. Applications will be accepted through the recruitment website from June 13 to June 20. Those finally selected will be appointed in September and converted to permanent positions after a three-month internship.
The total of 72 hires breaks down into 57 positions in the general category, seven in the social equity category, and eight in the high school graduate talent category. The hiring process consists of three stages: document screening, written test, and interview. "We will ensure transparency and fairness throughout the entire selection process and select talent based on the National Competency Standards (NCS)," the KDHC official said. "To expand employment opportunities for socially vulnerable groups, we grant preferential points to basic livelihood recipients, children from multicultural families, and youth preparing for independence."
"KDHC plans to conduct fair recruitment based on blind hiring," KDHC President Ha Dong-geun stressed. "We look forward to active applications from outstanding talent who combine passion and capability."
