Daewoo E&C will launch sales of "Jangwi Prugio Mark One" in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, this month.
According to Daewoo E&C on the 4th, the complex, which redevelops Zone 10 of the Jangwi New Town, will be built on a scale of 1,931 units across 23 buildings up to 35 stories above ground. Of these, 1,032 units with exclusive floor areas of 39 to 114 square meters are for general sale. Unlike most redevelopment complexes, where general sale units are placed on lower floors, most of the general sale units here are distributed on the fifth floor or higher.
The complex is close to Dolgoji Station on Subway Line 6. Vehicle access is also convenient via the Dongbu Expressway and the Inner Circulation Road, and transportation conditions are expected to improve with the planned Dongbuk Line light rail and the Great Train Express (GTX)-C line.
For educational facilities, Jangwi Elementary School is located right next to the complex, and Wolgok Middle School, Namdaemun Middle School, Jangwi Middle School, and Seokgwan High School are located within a 1.5-kilometer radius. For living amenities, Jangwi Traditional Market, large supermarkets, and department stores are nearby, and the Dream Forest of North Seoul is also close.
In addition, a large-scale development project to create a mixed complex of business, commercial, and residential facilities in the nearby Gwangwoon University Station area is being pursued, raising expectations for improvements to the residential environment. The area is planned to host a hotel, a mixed-use residential-commercial complex of about 3,100 units, a library, and cultural and sports facilities.
Currently, the Jangwi New Town is divided into 15 zones with redevelopment projects underway, and it is set to become a large-scale residential town with a total of 32,000 units. The model house will be set up in the Wangsan-ro area of Dongdaemun-gu.
"Jangwi Prugio Mark One is a complex located in a key location of the Jangwi New Town," a Daewoo E&C official said. "Future value can also be expected from surrounding development projects such as the Gwangwoon University Station area development."
