Koramco, which ranks second in Korea's real estate investment industry with assets under management (AUM) of 56 trillion won, has begun recruiting talent to drive its next phase of growth.
Koramco Asset Trust and Koramco Asset Management said Thursday they are accepting applications for the "2026 Koramco Conversion-Track Internship Program" through June 10. The plan is to secure hands-on talent early as a future growth engine, at a time when AUM expansion and sector specialization are firmly on track.
The internship is designed from the outset with full-time conversion in mind. Participants will work at the company's headquarters in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for seven weeks from July 6 to August 21, and will be directly assigned to actual projects in each of the REITs, real estate funds and real estate trust business divisions. After the internship ends, top performers will go through a final interview in late August and may join the company as full-time employees starting in September.
Koramco is a comprehensive real estate finance firm that has held the top spot in Korea's private REIT market for 25 consecutive years. Because the company simultaneously operates a range of investment vehicles including REITs, funds and trusts, interns can gain broad hands-on experience across the entire real estate finance spectrum within a single company.
This year, the company has broadened its eligibility criteria. In addition to graduates and prospective graduates from domestic and overseas universities, applications are now open to those holding overseas MBAs and degrees from real estate-related graduate schools. The move reflects an intent to secure high-caliber talent in line with the company's expansion of overseas investment and its sector specialization strategy. Applicants must be available for full-time work and open to full-time conversion, and a monthly salary of 3 million won will be paid during the internship period.
Support for growth continues even after conversion to full-time employment. Through Koramco's systematic talent development programs — including overseas training, an in-house MBA, deal case sharing and practical AI education — employees can continuously build expertise.
Applications will be accepted through Koramco's recruitment website until June 10, with document screening and interviews conducted sequentially. Final successful candidates will be announced at the end of June.
"Real estate finance goes beyond asset analysis — the key is the execution capability to structure investments and translate them into operating performance," said Han Seok-hee, head of the Talent Development Office at Koramco Asset Trust. "Through this internship, we will identify talent equipped with both global perspective and on-the-ground capabilities, and nurture them into the company's future competitive edge."
