Shinsegae Live Shopping said Thursday it has launched a new service called "Now Quick," which delivers products ordered through its broadcasts across Seoul on the same day. The service was developed by linking CJ Logistics' "Baro One" service with Shinsegae Live Shopping's own logistics system. Based on pre-analyzed sales data, the company allocates inventory by region and ships products immediately after broadcasts end.
Now Quick aims to deliver products within five hours after a broadcast. Some customers located near logistics hubs are expected to receive their orders within one hour. The service will initially cover all of Seoul before expanding to Gyeonggi Province. The company plans to apply the service first to beauty products and ambient food items that customers can use or consume immediately upon delivery, then expand to fashion items after gauging customer response.
Through Now Quick, Shinsegae Live Shopping aims to boost customer satisfaction and create a structure in which fast delivery drives immediate purchases, thereby raising conversion rates during broadcasts. "We will significantly shorten the time gap between ordering and delivery, changing the standard of customer experience," said Han Hye-rim, executive director of the support division at Shinsegae Live Shopping.
