CHA Healthcare, a subsidiary of CHA Biotech, said Wednesday it will build a senior-focused connected healthcare model at "Soyo Hannam by PARNAS" (Soyo Hannam), a high-end senior residence in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, set to open in 2029.
The company plans to provide a differentiated "AI-based connected healthcare" service by combining Cheongdam Chaum's expertise in life care, preventive medicine and longevity with CHA Healthcare's global medical market operation know-how and artificial intelligence (AI) digital platform capabilities.
The core competitiveness of connected healthcare lies in linking the preventive medicine data and anti-aging know-how accumulated by Cheongdam Chaum with daily life. All residents of Soyo Hannam will be assigned a dedicated healthcare consultant. Using a healthcare concierge center as its hub, the company will supply an AI-based digital platform connected to artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) and wearable devices in each unit. Through this, it will build a "Physical & Digital" care system that manages residents' health, providing a unique personalized healthcare service.
In the Soyo Hannam project, CHA Healthcare plans to differentiate itself in the senior healthcare market as a next-generation senior life platform that integrates AI, healthcare and residential services under the clear value of "extending healthy life expectancy."
"Amid a paradigm shift in which the concept of healthcare is expanding from hospitals to daily life, Soyo Hannam will be the first case where longevity and AI-based digital healthcare are implemented in a high-end senior residence," a CHA Healthcare official said.
CHA Healthcare, a subsidiary of CHA Biotech, is an affiliate specializing in overseas hospital operations and runs facilities including the Hollywood CHA Hospital in Los Angeles. The company has been pursuing a listing process with the goal of an initial public offering (IPO) in 2027.
