SK Intelics announced Monday that Moon Cheol-hyun, head of the SK Intelics Integrated Branch of the National Finance and Service Workers' Union, has been awarded the Bronze Tower Industrial Medal for his contributions to labor-management cooperation.
Moon received the honor on Sunday at the "2026 Labor Day Government Awards Ceremony," organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and held at the CCMM Building in Yeouido, Seoul. The Labor Day Government Awards are presented annually by the ministry to recognize individuals who have contributed to raising social awareness of the value of labor, improving workers' quality of life, promoting labor-management cooperation, and resolving workplace conflicts.
Moon was recognized for his comprehensive contributions, including building a cooperative labor-management culture based on a no-dispute, no-strike approach, ensuring employment stability and improving wages and welfare, and creating jobs through the integration and operation of multiple unions covering sales professionals and workers in special employment.
Currently serving as a labor representative on the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission, Moon said, "I have worked to spread a cooperative labor-management culture based on the principle of no disputes and no strikes, and have done my utmost for the company's growth and the advancement of union members' rights through employment stability, welfare improvements, and union integration." He added, "Going forward, I will continue to do my best to improve workers' rights through labor-management cooperation and contribute to narrowing gaps in the labor market."
An SK Intelics official said, "Since the establishment of the labor union, SK Intelics has continued to build an exemplary culture of cooperative labor-management relations. We will continue to advance as a respected company that creates social value through communication and cooperation between labor and management."
