
S-OIL (010950.KS) held a donation ceremony for its social enterprise support program at its headquarters in Mapo, Seoul, on Wednesday, delivering a total of 150 million won ($110,000).
The donation, channeled through the Merry Year Foundation, will be used to fund business development, pop-up store operations, and performance-sharing events for five social enterprises selected in the environmental sector.
The five final selections include Rivation, which develops products based on eco-friendly materials; Brownskin, which produces recycled leather goods using agricultural and food by-products; Shell Corporation, which manufactures outdoor apparel using waste fabric restoration techniques; Anachia, which makes safety footwear from waste tires; and Sonkkeut, which produces cultivation containers from waste fibers.
S-OIL has supported a total of 25 social enterprises since 2022, contributing to social value creation as part of its ESG management efforts.
