The Korea Housing Managers Association announced Friday that it is launching the "2026 Building Management Industry Safety and Health Best Practices Discovery and Casebook Publication Project" to raise safety and health standards at building management sites and promote the dissemination of exemplary cases.
The project was organized as part of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's "2026 Industry-Specific Association Network Support Program." The association plans to solicit best practice submissions from building management workplaces that have conducted risk assessments, and select eight workplaces through document review and evaluation. Financial support will be provided to the selected workplaces, and a presentation contest will be held for five of them to share outstanding on-site improvement cases. Beyond simply identifying cases, the association plans to widely disseminate safety and health improvement examples with high on-site applicability through the presentation contest, publication of a casebook, and production of video content featuring exemplary sites. Applications will be accepted until June 6, with best practices to be selected and the presentation contest held in early July, followed by publication of the casebook in August.
"By identifying and spreading practical examples of risk factor improvements at building management sites, this will serve as an opportunity to elevate the overall safety culture of the building management industry to the next level," said Ha Won-sun, chairman of the Korea Housing Managers Association. "We look forward to active participation from many workplaces."
