Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) said Monday it will simultaneously launch new 2027 models of Mighty, Pavise and Xcient, its flagship commercial vehicle lineup that leads Korea's commercial truck market.
Hyundai Motor applied a family look sharing a common brand identity to the three commercial models and significantly enhanced product competitiveness by offering passenger car-level digital experiences and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The mid-size truck "The New 2027 Mighty" is a facelift model unveiled about 11 years after its initial launch in 2015. Three chrome lines on the front radiator grille deliver a rugged impression. The model features newly applied LED rear combination lamps with sequential turn signals, while the interior is equipped with a 12.3-inch cluster and an audio, video and navigation (AVN) display. In terms of drivability, Hyundai adopted "Advanced Eco Roll," which disengages power during coasting or downhill driving to improve fuel efficiency, and an electronic brake control system (EBS) that enables precise braking force distribution. Synthetic oil was applied to the rear axle, extending the customer replacement cycle significantly from 40,000 km to 240,000 km.

The heavy-duty truck "The New 2027 Pavise" is a facelift model introduced about seven years after its launch in 2019. The front design was modernized with vertical and horizontal H graphics, and the existing Allison 6-speed automatic transmission was upgraded to a 9-speed automatic transmission to enhance powertrain performance. A "Prestige Max" trim has also been added for customers requiring heavy-load long wheelbase configurations, designed to prevent frame deformation even when carrying loads of up to 8.5 tons. Like The New 2027 Mighty, it is equipped with a 12.3-inch cluster, AVN display and Advanced Eco Roll.
In the heavy-duty truck segment, Hyundai unveiled "The New 2027 Xcient Fuel Cell (FCEV)," a facelift model receiving new car-level changes four years after its launch, and the year-change model "2027 Xcient." The trucks come loaded with top-tier ADAS features, including forward collision-avoidance assist, smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, highway driving assist and lane keeping assist.
Hyundai applied direct glazing to the front windshield glass across all three commercial models to enhance body rigidity and minimize external noise. The next-generation infotainment system (ccNC) supports over-the-air software updates and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

To mark the launch, Hyundai will offer a 1 million won discount to the first 100 customers of the freight brokerage platform "Wonecall" who purchase Mighty or Pavise models. The company will also provide Michelin tire coupons worth 300,000 won to all customers who receive a new 4-ton class Mighty equipped with the Michelin tire option within this year.
"Mighty, Pavise and Xcient, which are responsible for Korea's logistics and construction sites, have evolved into tougher and smarter forms by actively reflecting customer feedback," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We will continue to innovate as a reliable partner helping commercial vehicle customers succeed in their businesses."
