
The KOSDAQ Association announced Thursday that Chairman Lee Dong-hoon has joined the "Youth Illegal Gambling Eradication" relay campaign.
The campaign, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, aims to raise awareness of the dangers of illegal cyber gambling spreading among teenagers and to prevent damage by heightening vigilance across society.
Previously, Kiwoom Securities CEO Um Ju-sung, Hanwha Investment & Securities CEO Jang Byung-ho, and Mirae Asset Securities Vice Chairman Kim Mi-seop participated in the campaign.
Chairman Lee, who joined the campaign on the recommendation of Korea Securities Depository CEO Lee Soon-ho, named Korea Venture Capital Association Chairman Kim Hak-kyun and Korea Venture Business Association Chairman Song Byung-joon as the next participants.
"Eradicating youth gambling is a shared responsibility of our society," Chairman Lee Dong-hoon said. "Through this campaign, the KOSDAQ Association will take the lead in raising awareness of the dangers of illegal gambling and building a safe future for young people."
