Hyundai Motor Group will operate the "HMG Driving Experience 2026 Season" from the 9th through December 6, the company said Thursday.
Hyundai Motor (005380) and Kia (000270) have offered differentiated brand experiences every year since opening the HMG Driving Experience Center in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, in September 2022.
This year, the group has prepared a wide range of programs that can be enjoyed not only by skilled drivers but also by beginners and family customers. The beginner program "Basic Drive" has been subdivided into Basic Drive Light and Plus. Basic Drive Plus adds 40 minutes of public road driving. Novice drivers who complete Basic Drive Light and Plus become familiar with challenging driving environments such as urban driving, parking and wet roads.
The group also operates programs specialized by brand. Hyundai Motor has newly established the "N Track Performance" program so that skilled drivers can experience the outstanding driving performance unique to its high-performance N brand. N Track Performance is structured as an 8-hour 30-minute course that allows drivers to learn systematic driving techniques. Participants can drive high-performance vehicles such as the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N alongside professional instructors, experiencing drifting on wet surfaces and high-speed driving on dry surfaces.
Kia is introducing a program that allows participants to experience the dynamic performance of its authentic pickup "Tasman." Those who participate in the newly created "Tasman Experience" program this year can directly experience the Tasman's performance in unpaved (off-road) environments such as gravel fields, mud and waterways. The "Tasman Intensive" program, which combined off-road driving with a one-night camping trip and received favorable reviews from car enthusiasts, will continue this year following last year's run.
The group also provides opportunities to drive new models from Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis. Participants can enjoy the latest models including the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N, Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT, EV5 GT and Genesis GV60 Magma.
This year, a program to enjoy with family has also been newly established. Participants in the "Package Taxi" program can choose two of four courses — dry road, wet road, high-speed track and off-road — and experience them together with both adults and children. The "Camping Experience" program, which combines an electric-vehicle test drive with a one-night camping trip, will newly deploy models specialized in space utilization such as the Kia EV5 and PV5.
Programs for child customers are also available. Participants in the "Junior Driving Experience" program can enjoyably experience future mobility technology by building car models or receiving basic coding education. At the simulator zone, participants can enjoy virtual driving experiences with various models from Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis.
