Hyundai Greenfood (453340.KS) reported first-quarter consolidated revenue of 621.5 billion won ($460 million), up 8.9% from a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing Tuesday.
Operating profit climbed 43.9% to 46.4 billion won during the period, while net profit rose 36.8% to 36.2 billion won.
The earnings improvement was driven by continued strong performance in core businesses and expanded new orders at overseas subsidiaries in the United States and China.
"All business segments posted balanced growth, including our core institutional catering and food ingredient distribution businesses, as well as dining and care food operations," a Hyundai Greenfood official said.
