Hyundai Engineering & Construction (000720.KS) has opened a showroom offering a preview of future residential life at the Apgujeong District 3 redevelopment site. The facility allows visitors to experience the community and mobility features firsthand on-site.
Hyundai E&C held an opening ceremony for the showroom inside the Apgujeong District 3 complex on Monday with key members of the redevelopment association in attendance, kicking off its official promotional campaign. The showroom is designed to let visitors directly experience the "OWN THE ONE" vision and the future of residential living proposed by Hyundai E&C. The flow from entry to exhibition and consultation is structured like a scenario, allowing customers to naturally grasp the project's distinctive features.
The showroom opens with a full-scale reproduction of a section of "THE CIRCLE ONE," a circular community space. It intuitively demonstrates a structure that enables walking, running and relaxation in an indoor environment with managed climate control and air quality. Next, a resident-exclusive demand-responsive transit (DRT) autonomous shuttle is on display, where visitors can confirm through simulation the mobility design that connects the complex with nearby living zones.
Robotics technology from Hyundai Motor Group is also on exhibit. Through physical displays and operating videos of MobED and nano mobility devices, the showroom presents a future residential environment extending to in-complex transportation, services and safety management.
At the complex model zone, visitors can view the layout of 5,175 units across 30 buildings and the Han River views in three dimensions. The eight riverfront buildings along the Han River each feature different designs, forming a differentiated skyline. Individual units apply the "Campus Unit" concept, which allows residents to freely configure interior walls.
"Visitors will be able to feel firsthand our vision of completing a residential complex that goes beyond Korea to reach world-class standards," a Hyundai E&C official said. The showroom will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Nov. 24.
