
Madison Huang, senior director of product marketing for Omniverse and Robotics at Nvidia and eldest daughter of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, visited Doosan Robotics (454910.KS) to discuss artificial intelligence (AI) technology cooperation between the two companies.
According to Doosan Robotics on Saturday, Huang met with Doosan Robotics CEO Kim Min-pyo at the company's Innovation Center in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, earlier in the day.
The meeting was held to discuss integrating Nvidia's AI and robotics ecosystem with Doosan Robotics' intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids. The partnership aims to build a robot execution platform applicable to actual industrial sites by linking Doosan Robotics' robot-specific execution software, the "Agentic Robot Operating System," with Nvidia's AI and robotics simulation and training infrastructure.
The Agentic Robot Operating System is software that allows AI to analyze work environments, optimize paths, and support safe and precise task execution. To enhance this operating system, Doosan Robotics is reviewing the development of robot-AI interfaces, standard protocols for robot control, integration of specialized task models, and the application of technical guardrails for safety control.
Through its cooperation with Nvidia, Doosan Robotics plans to unveil intelligent robot solutions based on the Agentic Robot Operating System in 2027, followed by industrial humanoid products in 2028. The company also plans to announce the results of its collaboration with Nvidia at major global exhibitions in 2027, including CES in Las Vegas.
"The success of physical AI depends not only on the intelligence of the AI model, but also on the stability of the execution platform that operates it without error in the field," Kim said. "Today's discussion was very serious and in-depth, and based on the content discussed, we will push forward with the commercialization of intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids."
Doosan Robotics previously unveiled an "AI depalletizing solution" applying Nvidia's virtual simulation technology Isaac Sim and robot motion optimization solution cuMotion at CES 2026 in January. In addition, Doosan Robotics' research and development (R&D) engineers won Nvidia's global AI robot competition "Cosmos Cook-Off" with their "Explainable Palletizer" project.
Meanwhile, Huang is reported to have also met with senior executives from Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) and SK hynix (000660.KS) the same day to discuss ways to build a physical AI ecosystem encompassing semiconductors and robot platforms.
