Korea Investment Real Estate Trust said Monday it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Sillim-6 District Rapid Integrated Planning Redevelopment Preparatory Committee in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, on Saturday to cooperate on a housing redevelopment project.
The Sillim-6 District is a designated site for the Rapid Integrated Planning program. The preparatory committee plans to establish a cooperative framework with the trust firm from the early stages of the project to strengthen expertise and transparency. Korea Investment Real Estate Trust will take on roles across the redevelopment process, centered on fund management and project management, while also supporting permit and licensing procedures and conducting feasibility reviews.
"Based on our accumulated experience in redevelopment projects, we will actively support the stable progress of this project," an official at Korea Investment Real Estate Trust said.
