Lotte Engineering & Construction is strengthening cooperation with its partners by rewarding subcontractors with outstanding safety and quality records and expanding financial support.
Lotte E&C held its "2026 Outstanding Partner Awards" at the LE:EL Castle Gallery in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on Friday, recognizing 92 firms. The awardees were selected for their performance in on-site safety, quality, and adherence to construction schedules. By category, 75 firms were honored in construction, 10 in safety, four in quality, and three in customer service. The number of awardees in the safety category increased by four from last year, and an additional 10 firms will be selected and honored in the second half.
The benefits for winners are substantial. The three grand prize winners will be granted priority contract negotiation rights, while the eight top-tier awardees and 81 excellence awardees will receive cash prizes of 30 million won and 5 million won, respectively. All awarded firms will also receive benefits including exemption from contract performance bonds, financial support through interest-free loans and a shared growth fund, and expanded bidding opportunities.
"I deeply appreciate the dedication of our partner companies, who have quietly done their best despite the challenging business environment," Lotte E&C CEO Oh Il-keun said. "We will continue to pursue win-win cooperation to improve safety and quality."
Lotte E&C also plans to launch a separate financial support program for partner firms struggling with rising international oil and raw material prices.
