
Kim Yong-ju, CEO of LigaChem Biosciences (141080), has been promoted to chairman.
LigaChem Biosciences, an Orion Group affiliate, announced the executive reshuffle on the 28th to mark its 20th anniversary. The reshuffle reflects the company's plans to cultivate next-generation leaders and ensure succession, aiming to strengthen future competitiveness and lay the foundation for sustainable growth by promoting proven talent.
With his promotion to chairman, Kim will step down as CEO and focus on identifying future growth engines while serving as an adviser to Orion Group's bio business. President Park Se-jin, currently Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has been named as his successor. The new CEO will be formally appointed following a board resolution.
